Believed to be coachwork by Studebaker. California history. Sold new to a funeral home in Los Angeles
This was purchased a year ago from the estate of its former owner, that had it for sixty plus years. It was used in many movies, including "a bad day at black rock". Elaborately carved body sides and rear doors. Worthy candidate for a show restoration or good enough to possibly just fix up and keep it unrestored. Engine spins over and has compression, but it has not been used for the last couple of decades. Always stored indoors. It has the potential to be a centerpiece of any great collection, and probably the only one of it type. A great way for the serious Studebaker collector to take their last ride.
